It is obligatory to express happiness and celebrate Eid.

On the occasion of the birth of the Sacred Sayyidul Ayyad Sharif or Eid E Milad E Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam i.e. Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam it is obligatory to express happiness and celebrate Eid, the evidence from the Holy Quran Sharif in this regard.

It is obligatory to express happiness Mubarak and celebrate Eid on the occasion of the Biladaat Sharif (Birth) of the holy Sayyidul Ayyad Sharif or Eid Milad Habibullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

Sayyidul Mursalin, Imamul Mursalin, Shafeul Mujnabeen, Rahmatulil Alamin, Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam is the main source of all the universe or creation of the world. He is the source of all the blessings of Almighty Allah. It is never possible to get the pleasure of Almighty Allah Pak without his pleasure. The one who blesses him with his (Nabiji) love, Allah , the Almighty loves him. And it is not possible for anyone to become a believer without his love.

In this regard, HzurPak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam says in the Sacred Hadith Sharif –

Meaning: “No one can be a believer until he loves Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam more than his parents, children, and all people. In other words, until he will not love more than wealth and life.” (Bukhari Sharif 1/7 – Kitabul Iman – Hadith number 14 and 15)

It is understood from this holy Sahih Hadith Sharif that loving Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam more than anything is faith (Eeman). And expressing happiness on the occasion of the arrival of Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam is the characteristic of the believers. On the occasion of the arrival of Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam, the Almighty Allah Himself expresses happiness, all the angels Alaihimus Salam, in a word, the entire creation world expresses happiness.

Do you know who suffered the most in the days of Biladat Sharif of Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam? Iblish Satan suffered the most. He was suffering so much that he was crying.

“Satan cried aloud four times, the first time when Almighty Allah called him accursed; The second time he was thrown out of heaven. The third time, when Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam’s Beladat (arrival). And the fourth time when Surah Fateha Sharif was revealed.”

(Proof: Al-Bedayah One Nehaya-2nd Volume 266, 267, Pages Author: Abul Fida Hafiz Ibn Kachir ad Damascus Rahmatullahi Alaihi. Publication: Maktabatul Ma’refa, Beirut Lebanon.) ‘Eid’ (عيد) means to express happiness or joy. And ‘Mīlad’ (ميلاد) means the time or day of birth. By the word ‘An Nabiyyah’ (النبي) is meant Noor Mujassam, Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam. So, in the literal sense, “Eid E Miladin Nabiyi” (عيد ميلاد النبى) means to express happiness on the occasion of Biladat Sharif in honor of Nur Mujassam, Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam.

And in the terminological sense, ‘Eid E Miladun Nabi’ means Expressing happness Mubarak on the occasion of Biladat Sharif Day of Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam, describing his virtues, virtues, honors, reciting Salat-salam and tasbeeh-tahlil to him, overall discussion of the most sacred biography Mubarak .

Now see what the Almighty Allah Pak has ordered the the believers (Mumin Mussalman) on he occasion the arrival of His Habib Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam. Allah Pak says-

Meaning: O my Habib may Allah bless him and grant him peace! Tell the ummah that they should be happy for the grace and mercy of Allah (Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam). It is best to express this happiness, which they store up!” (Holy Surah Yunus Shareef: Holy Verse Shareef 8)

In the Fafseer (explanation) of that Ayat (verse) Sharif, famous Mufassir whose fafseer if taught in the whole Madeah, Hafizey Hadith, Allama Jalal Uddin Suyuti Rahmatullahi Alaihi said-

Meaning: Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Anhuma said, in the Tafseer of this verse, Allah’s grace is understood as ‘Ilim’. And by mercy is meant ‘ Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam’ .For example, Allah says, “I have sent you as a mercy for Tamam Alam (the entire creation).” Document- √ Tafseer Durrul Manchur – 10 no sura – 11 para – Surah Yunus 58 verses. Tafseer Ruhul Mayani √ Tafseer Kabir.

In Tafseer Ruhul Mayani 6th volume page 141 mentions,

Meaning: Hazrat Abush Shaykh Rahmatullahi Alayhi narrates – Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Tayala Anhuma states, “Certainly by “Fadwal” the intention is knowledge, and by “Rahmat” means Noor E Mujassam, Habibullah,Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

Then it is seen that celebrating Eid is the order of Almighty Allah. Fard and Wajib are confirmed by imperative indicative sentences.

It is mentioned in all his kitabs on fiqh that:

الامر للوجوب

In other words, by imperative sentences, obligations are generally understood. As stated in the ‘Amr’ section of the ‘Kitabullah’ chapter of the Kitab of Uzulush Shashi,

Meaning: “The pure view of our Hanafi Madhhab is that it is obligatory to observe the commandments of the Qur’an Sharif. It has been narrated in eh Kalamullah Sharif ,

That is, “You should pray.” The holy prayer has been made obligatory by this instructional sentence of the Holy Quran.

Similar it has been stated in the Hadith Sharif,

Meaning “You (men) grow beards long.” By this directive sentence of the Holy Hadith Sharif, it is obligatory to keep a beard of at least one fist. Similarly, verse 58 of Surah Yunus Sharif says فليفرحوا or express happiness or celebrate Eid, it is a command sentence. By this order mubarak it is proved that it is fard(obligatory) and wajib to express happiness mubarak or celebrate Eid. Subhanallah!

Also, in many places of the Holy Qur’an, Almighty Allah has asked to celebrate Eid, and to remember the blessings given by Him. As Almighty Allah says,

Meaning: “Remember the blessings you have been given.” (Surah Al Imran Shareef: Holy Verse Shareef 103)

The question is, what is the greatest blessing of Almighty Allah? In this regard, all the people of the world agree that the greatest blessing of Almighty Allah is Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam not only that, all the blessings of all the worlds have been gifted to Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam. And Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam is “Anni’matil kubra alal alam that means the greatest blessing(neyamot) of all the universe. Subhanallah!

Almighty Allah says in Surah Al-Imran, verse 103, the blessing that has been given to you (Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam), you should remember that blessing, recite it, discuss it, express your happiness. Subhanallah!

Therefore, it is understood through the through the said verse sharif hat it is a command mubarak os the Great Allah Pak to express hapiness in remembrance of the best blessing (neyamot) of Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

And it is clear in the Qur’an that Eid is the day of receiving special blessings. Almihgty says,

Meaning: “Oh our Lord Allah Pak! Send down for us a tray (khancha) with food (of heavenly food) from the sky. The occasion of the sending down of the khancha, i.e. the day on which the khancha will be sent down with food, will be Eid for us, and for all those before us and after us, and will be a sign from you. Give us sustenance. Surely You are the best provider of sustenance. (Sacred surah Mayida sharif, sacred verse 114)

It is mentioned in the Holy Ayat Sharif that Hazrat Isa Alaihis Salam asked for a basket full of food from the sky for his Ummah (followers), and said that the day when this blessing of food is revealed will be like Eid for all before and after him. If the day of the revelation of the tray with this food is the day of Eid, then won’t the day of the arrival of Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam, the blessing of the whole world, the root of all blessings be Eid,? Won’t happiness be expressed on this special day??

Of course, the day of Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam’s arrival will be Eid, not only that, but the greatest Eid of the whole universe, namely ‘Sayyidul Ayyad Sharif’. Subhanallah!!

In numerous places of the Holy Quran Sharif, the good news of the arrival of Noor E Mujassam, Habibullah, Saiyidul Mursalin, Imamul Mursalin, Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam is given and it is clearly described to preform sukria and Eid celebration on the occasion of his arrival.

Almighty Allah revealed many verses about the arrival of His beloved Habib, Habibullah Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam. such as

Meaning: “O my Habib Noor Mujassam, Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam! Verily, I have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, and a warner. Therefore, you (Ummats) believe in Allah the Exalted and His Habib Noor Mujassam, Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam, and you should serve Noor Mujassam, Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam, honor and respect till mornign to evening that means always discuss about his dignity and glorification. (Holy Surah Fatah Shareef: Holy Verses 8-9)

Meaning: There has come to you a Messenger Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam for you, , your suffering is painful to him, he desires your well-being, loving and kind to the believers.” (Holy Surah Tawba Sharif: Holy Verse 128)

Meaning: “O my Habib Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam!” I have sent you as a mercy to all the universe.” (Holy Surah Ambiya Sharif: Holy Verse 107)

Meaning: “Surely Allah Almighty has favored the believers, He has sent Habibullah Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam to them, who recites to them the verses of Almighty Allah and purifies their hearts and teaches them the kitab and wisdom. (Holy Surah Al Imran Shareef: Holy Verse 164)

Meaning: “O my Habib Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam!” Indeed, I have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, a warner, and a caller to Me by My command, and a lamp of light.”

Meaning: “Surely a great light (Noor) has come to you from the Almighty Allah (Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam).” (Holy Surah Maida Sharif: Holy Verse 15)

Meaning: “Allah Pak took a promise from the Prophets, Rasool Alaihimus Salam ,that I will give you the kitab(kitab) and wisdom(Hikmat). Then a Messenger (Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam) will come as a verifier of the kitab given to you! You must believe in him and serve him if you find him! Almighty Allah said, have you accepted my promise? They said, yes, we have accepted. Then Allah said, “Then bear witness and I bear witness with you.” (Holy Surah Al Imran Sharif: Holy Verse 81)

In addition to the holy verse, the good news of the arrival of the Holy Prophet, Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam, has been given in many other verses. And the celebration of Eid on the occasion of his arrival has been clearly announced in the Quran Sharif-

Meaning: “O mankind! Of course, there has come among you from Allah Pak, the Great Reliever, the Remover of all diseases from your hearts, the Great Guide and the Great Mercy for the believers (Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam). O Habib Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam! Say, you celebrate Eid and express happiness for the mercy, grace and mercy of Almighty Allah (Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam). Whatever you do, He is the greatest and best blessing for the entire universe.” (Holy Surah Yunus Sharif: Holy Verses 57-58)

In Tafseer Ruhul Mayani 6th volume page 141 mentions,

Meaning: Hazrat Abush Shaykh Rahmatullahi Alayhi narrates , it is said from Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Tayala Anhuma, “Certainly by “Fadwal” the intention is knowledge, and by “Rahmat” denotes Noor Mujassam, Habibullah Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam.”

This verse is explained by Hafiz E Hadith, Imamul Mufassirin Jalaluddin Suyuti Rahmatullahi Alaihi in reference of Ibn Abbas Radiyallahu Anhu:

Meaning: In the said verse, knowledge is understood as grace and mercy is understood by Huzur Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam! As Almighty Allah says, I have sent you as a mercy for Tamam Alam (entire creation)!” Document- √ Tafsir Durre Manchur √ Commentary Ruhul Mayani! √ Tafseer Kabir.

Eid Milad Habibullah Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam is proved by the direct evidence of his holy verses of Quran Sharif!that. Because Almighty Allah has announced the arrival of his Habib Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam and said to celebrate Eid on the occasion of that arrival SubhanAllah !!

Not only that, the Almighty Allah Himself has given the good news of his Milad Sharif through the previous Prophet Rasool Alaihimus Salam.

It is stated in the Qur’an Sharif:

Meaning: “Hazrat Isa Alaihis Salam said, O Children of Israel! Surely I have been sent to you as the Messenger of Almighty Allah! I am the confirmer of the Taorat Shareef before me and I am the bearer of the glad tidings of a Messenger who will come after me, his name is Ahmad, Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam.” (Holy Surah Chhaf Sharif: Holy Verse 6)

In the context of this verse, the Holy Prophet himself, Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam, said about his Meeld Sharif: “I will tell you some of my previous affairs! That is – I am the prayer of Hazrat Ibrahim alaihis salam, I am the good news of Hazrat Isa alaihis salam and my mother’s dream! At the time of my birth, my mother saw that a blessed light came out and illuminated the royal palaces of the land of Syria. Document- √Musnad Ahmad 4th volume 27 pages! √ Mustadreke Hakim 2nd volume 601 pages! √ Mishkat Sharif 513 pages!

From the above verse, we can see that the Almighty Allah Himself gave the good news of Habibullah Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam on the holy Eid Milad Habibullah Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam through Hazrat Isa alaihis salam and later Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam himself gave the description of his Milad Sharif. Subhanallah !!

Almighty Allah narrates in the Holy Quran Sharif –

Meaning: “Recite the blessings that have been given to you.” (Holy Surah Al Imran Sharif: Holy Verse 103)

Almighty Allah says-

Meaning: “Reveal the blessings of your Lord.” (Holy Surah Adwa Duha Shareef: Holy Verse 11)

In the explanation of the mentioned blessings, the Holy Hadith Sharif mentions: “Swear to God! They (who opposed the Prophet) are Quraysh infidels and Hazrat Sayyiduna Muhammad Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam is Allah Pak’s blessing!” (Bukhari Sharif 1/221)

And about reciting or discussing the days full of blessings, the Holy Qur’an says:

وَذَكِّرْهُم بِأَيَّامِ اللَّهِ ۚ إِنَّ فِي ذَٰلِكَ لَآيَاتٍ لِّكُلِّ صَبَّارٍ شَكُورٍ

Meaning: “Remind the blessings of Allah Pak. Verily, in it there are great signs for every patient servant of Suqarguza.” (Holy Surah Ibrahim Sharif: Holy Verse 5)

Reciting special days by the above holy verses and expressing happiness on these days is directly proved by the Holy Quran.

So celebrating Eid on the arrival day of Huzoor Pak Sallallahu Alahi Wasallam, discussing on his biography, is irrefutably proven from the Holy Quran. Subhanallah.
