Celebrating Pohela boishakh are more serious and grave harwaam and kufri acts

Noor-e-Mujassam, Habeebullah, Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Dictates, “You deviate from whatever is done by the jews, christians, fire-worshippers and the mushriks.” Non-Hijab acts, exhibitionism, shamelessness, behaving wild or getting drunk in the name of celebrating pohela Boishakh or a new year’s day are more serious and grave harwaam and kufri acts. Observance of English New Year, Bangla New Year and Arabic New Year are all the customs of the jews, christians, fire-worshippers and the mushriks. It is Far’d-Wazib for All Muslims to refrain themselves from celebrating new year’s day.

Focal WaliAllah of this age, Imaamul Aimmah, Qutwubul A’alam, Awladur Rwasool, Habeebullah, Mamduh Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam of Rajarbagh Shareef Says, “As per Shari’ah, celebrating pohela Boishakh (1st of Boishakh) or observe, assist and cooperate in any other programmes for the purpose is completely harwaam and kufri. Moreover, non-Hijab acts, exhibitionism, shamelessness, behaving wild or getting drunk in the name of celebrating 1st Boishakh or a new year’s day are more serious and grave harwaam and kufri acts. The Shari’ah disposal is ‘if anyone donates even an egg for the purpose of celebrating the new year’s day, his whole life’s a’amal shall be void’. That means he remains no more an ‘Imaandar’ (one with beliefs); he becomes an Imaan-less person (no-beliefs).” He made those remarks recently at Rajarbagh Shareef in reaction to the upcoming craze and whims of the celebration of ‘pohela boishakh.” Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “The history of observing pohela Boishakh is never related with Islam. Muslims are not to observe it. According to historical data, this culture of celebrating pohela boishakh had originated from the hindus. Also that the Bangla Year or the pohela boishakh is not introduced by one Bengali either. Emperor Akbar did it for ‘harvesting’ purpose. Akbar originated from Mongolia and spoke Persian. How can then this pohela boishakh be a truly Bengali event? Therefore, it is not appropriate for the Bengalis to observe, and for the Muslims, no question does arise. For the Muslims, following any non-Muslims or un-Islamists is completely harwaam and kufri.” Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “Generally, King Jamshid of ancient Persia pioneered the celebration of ‘Nawroje’, the new year’s day, some 800 years B.C. in his country. This Nawroje is still observed as a traditional festival of new year’s day in today’s Iran as part of their national festival. From Iran, this culture fanned out, entering into different Middle Eastern Muslim countries including the Indian sub-continent.” Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “The feast and fairs that take place in the rural areas and towns on the occasion of pohela boishakh or Bengali New Year’s Day is also an indirect impact of that Iranian culture of ‘Nawroje’. In the pre-Mughal era, there was no practice of celebrating pohela boishakh here.” Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam says, “Bangla new years’ day is a day of exclusive hindu rituals. The day preceding it is their ‘Chaitro Sangkranti’ and the next day, the pohela Boishakh, is the day for their ‘Ghot Puja’.” Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam says, “Hadrat Imaam Abu Hafs Qabir Rwa’hmatullahi Alaihi remarks, ‘anyone donating even an egg on the occasion of celebrating a new year’s day shall be devoid of 50 years of his a’amal (religious practices). That means that he shall be deprived of the good practices of his whole lifetime owing to the celebration of new year’s day.” Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam says, “These days, many Muslims are observing various new year’s days including this Bangla new year’s day. Through this, they are only displaying their accords with the infidels and members of other races. They are bringing in that they are the followers of those.” Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam Says, “ The worst of animals in the sight of Allah are those who reject the truth and do not become believers.”(Surah Anfal:55) By celebrating news year’s day, these kaafir are being followed. Na’oozubillah!!! Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam says, ‘Hadis Shareef has the reference which has been quoted from Hadrat Abdullah Ibn Omar RwadiAllahu Ta’ala Anhu, who said, Huzur Pak Swallallahu ‘Alaihi Wa Sallam Declared, “One who keeps in touch with certain community, becomes a member of that community and that his ‘Hashr-Nashr’ (disposals) shall also take place along with that community”. (Sunane Ahmad, Sunane Abu Dawud). Mujaddidey A’azwam Hadrat Murshid Qibla ‘Alaihis Salaam says, “The gist is – According to Shari’ah, celebrating pohela Boishakh or observe, assist and cooperate in any other programmes for the purpose is completely harwaam and kufri for the Muslims. Moreover, non-Hijab acts, exhibitionism, shamelessness, behaving wild or getting drunk in the name of celebrating pohela Boishakh or a new year’s day are more serious and grave harwaam and kufri acts. The Shari’ah disposal is ‘if anyone donates even an egg for the purpose of celebrating the new year’s day, his whole life’s a’amal shall be void’. That means he remains no more an ‘Imaandar’ (one with beliefs); he becomes an Imaan-less person (no-beliefs). Observance of English New Year, Bangla New Year and Arabic New Year are all the customs of the jews, christians, fire-worshippers and the mushriks. Therefore, it would be Far’d-Wajib for the government of the pledges of ‘not having passed any laws contrary to Qur’an Shareef and Hadis Shareef’ to make all out efforts so that Muslims remain safe from all such harwaam, kufri and shirq acts.”
